PRYC incorporated as a ‘not for profit’ Association in 2009.

Paradise Radio Yacht Club is one of four registered RC yacht clubs in the Gold Coast region.

PRYC currently has 100 active members in five different yacht classes, racing over six days per week throughout the year. Most classes race two days per week.

There are currently 33 IOM's , 22 10R's , 21 International RC Lasers , 48 Dragon Force 65's and 26 DF95 yachts in the club.

  • 2014 Australian National RC International Laser Championship hosted by PRYC.
  • 2014 Queensland State IOM Championship. A two-day event involving some 52 competitors including interstate and international skippers.
  • 2013 Australian ARYA National Championship involving four separate classes was held over thirteen days. Hosted by the QRYA and PRYC, it attracted a very strong field of 115 competitors from all States and New Zealand.
