Visit from Grand Vision Radio Yacht Club

On Sunday the 27th of June we hosted the GVRYC members to come sail with our DF 95 Fleet at Emerald Lakes, the weather dawned with bright blue sky and fresh southerly breeze of 6 to 12 knots.  A total fleet of 14 boats enjoyed an excellent days Handicap racing where 12 races were completed.  Race officer for the day Tony Fannin kept the competitors alert to the racing rules issuing penalties for breaches which all skippers complied with which was great to see.

A BBQ Lunch was provided to all competitors and visitors which was cooked and served by Mick Gentles and Faye Conza, we all say a big thank you to both, the food was delicious especially those pork sausages.  After racing a small prize giving took place to award the winners and those who provided interesting events while racing.

The GVRYC Team dominating one of the handicap races No 25 was the overall winner for the day.
