The wind was from the east which makes it difficult to set a start line that can be sighted from the control area. The breeze started out to be shifty but settled down in the afternoon. Once around the top marks, you are sailing directly away from you to the bottom marks which makes them difficult to see with boats blocking your view. Greg set the courses for us making the best of the prevailing conditions, many thanks Greg. Skippers did the right thing resulting in a good days sailing. Tony boat was sailing fast until it broke down after race 5 and Tony took over the RO duties. Many thanks Tony. Andrew made available 4 of his buoy-boats which made adjusting the course much easier.
